Privacy Policy

What we collect

Only what a booking actually needs, and nothing we cannot justify keeping.

• •Your name, email, and phone number, so we can confirm the booking and reach you on the day.
• •The service address and any access notes you give us, so we can turn up at the right place with the right kit.
• •Your vehicle size and the services and add-ons you chose, so we can price and schedule the job.
• •A record of whether you consented to text messages, when, from what page, and the exact wording you were shown.
• •Payment is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.

Text messages

Text messaging consent is collected on its own checkbox, unchecked by default, and is never required to book with Lustro Detailing. You can reply STOP at any time to opt out of all messages, or HELP for help.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties, except with vendors or service providers who assist in the delivery of text messages and support our business operations.

Because replying STOP unsubscribes your number from every message we send — including booking confirmations — we always send those by email as well.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing. It reaches exactly four processors, each doing one job on our behalf:

• •Stripe — takes the deposit and the balance.
• •Twilio — delivers text messages, if you opted in.
• •Resend — delivers email confirmations and receipts.
• •Neon — hosts the database the booking is stored in.

How long we keep it

Booking records are kept for as long as we may need them for tax and warranty purposes, typically seven years.

Consent records — the timestamp, the IP address, the exact consent wording shown, and the page URL — are kept for at least four years. That retention exists specifically so we can demonstrate you agreed, and it is why we log the wording rather than a yes/no flag.

Access notes and address details are deleted when the booking record is.

Your choices

Email hello@lustrodetailingllc.com and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. There is no form and no account to log into — a plain email is enough.

Deleting your data means we lose your booking history, which means we lose the record of what we did to your car last time. Worth knowing before you ask.

Photos

We photograph a lot of the cars we work on. We always ask before we publish one, and a decline costs you nothing and changes nothing about the job. Number plates are removed from anything that goes on the site.

Cookies and analytics

The site stores your theme preference and, if you start a booking, the services you picked — so you can pick it back up. That never includes your name, email, phone, or address.

We use privacy-preserving analytics to count page views. We do not run advertising trackers.
